ABOUT 10 CANDIDATES FROM BH ELECTORAL ROLL REFUSE TO GET MP MANDATES

YEREVAN, JUNE 6, NOYAN TAPAN. About 10 candidates out of 18,
occupying the passing seats of BH electoral roll, refused to get MP
mandates received as a result of the May 12 parliamentary elections
by proportional system. The latters are mainly heads of higher
educational institutions, particularly, Aram Isabekian, Rector
of Arts Academy, Vardevan Grigorian, Rector of Mikayel Nalbandian
Pedagogical Institute in Gyumri, Vahram Arakelian, Rector of Yerevan
State Institute of Physical Culture, as well as Haroutiun Kushkian,
Erebuni Medical Centre director, Vardan Vardanian, Deputy Minister of
Transport and Communication, Shamiram Aghabekian, ex-Deputy Chairman
of TV and Radio National Commission.

Thus, among the candidates included in the electoral roll of the party
headed by Gagik Tsarukian, Goharik Yenokian, Ishkhan Zakarian, Vardan
Bostanjian, Mkhitar Mnatsakanian, Arevik Petrosian, Aram Safarian,
Ernest Soghomonian, Avet Adonts, Karo Karapetian, Murad Guloyan, Vahe
Hovhannisian, Vahagn Makhsudian, Arshak Mkhitarian, Armen Abrahamian,
Haroutiun Garagyozian, Robert Zakarian, Naira Zohrabian and Arsen
Avagian will receive MP mandates. It should be mentioned that the
head of the party was elected by majoritarian system from Constituency.
