The claimant party requires to debar RA Justice Minister David
Haroutyunyan from participation in hearings on the claim of four
oppositional forces which insist on abolishment of May 12 parliamentary
election results.

To recall, the "New Times", "Orinats Yerkir", "Republic" parties, as
well as the "Impeachment" bloc contest the election results, and D.
Haroutyunyan is one of representatives of the defendant party at the
process. The claimant’s representatives presented the relevant petition
today since, as a representative of the "New Times" party Rouben
Torossyan said at the process, David Haroutyunyan was in the
proportional list of the Republican party on the eve of the election
and, upon their results, he was elected to the parliament. Therefore,
his participation in the process cannot be objective and
unbiased. Besides the aforementioned petition, the claimant party
insists on abolishment of RA CEC decision from May 19 about approval of
final results of the voting, invitation of international observers from
OSCE ODIHR as witnesses. It also insists on invitation of
representatives of the President and CEC, as three of nine members of
the Central Election Committee refused to sign the final voting
protocol.
