YEREVAN, MAY 29, NOYAN TAPAN. Graphic works of more than three dozens
of 4-grade students of the Fine Arts Faculty of the Yerevan State Art
Academy are presented at the exhibition opened at the Albert and Tove
Boyajian exhibition hall of the Academy on May 29.

In words of Karine Gevorgian, the Graphic Department head, the
exhibition goal is to give young artists possibility to present
themselves as well as to assist their creative development. And the
academy students, in her words, are able to master the art secrets
and reach professionalism, owing to their diligence.

Faculty Dean Edik Vardanian mentioned that today’s young generation
is more couragous, that’s why young people are able to present their
works to the society without being inhibited. "The presented works are
the result of the creative mind. This exhibition again proves that
the Fine Arts Academy is able to prepare professional painters. And
we must in any way assist talented young people and give possibility
for they participate not only in republic but different international
exhibitions," E. Bardanian mentioned.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
