ARMENIAN DEFENCE MINISTER, BRITISH ENVOY DISCUSS MILITARY COOPERATION

Armenian-British military cooperation has strengthened and improved
in the past years. This point of view was expressed during a meeting
between Armenian Defence Minister Mikayel Harutyunyan and British
ambassador to Armenia Anthony John James Cantor.
Talking about cooperation between the [two countries’] armed forces
in peacekeeping missions, the minister stressed the importance of
[English] language training for officers. He also stressed the
importance of personnel training.
An English learning class will open in a mine clearance centre on
20 May.
