BAKU: Russian Central Library Opens Section Of Azerbaijani Literatur

RUSSIAN CENTRAL LIBRARY OPENS SECTION OF AZERBAIJANI LITERATURE

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi /The Consulate General of
Azerbaijan in Saint-Petersburg reported on 14 May that a section of
Azerbaijani literature was opened at the Russian Central Library in
Murmansk region.

The Consulate-General presented books to the Library on Azerbaijan as
well as books relating to the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict.

A concert, with participation of the Azerbaijani musicians and artists,
will be held in the Palace of Ledoviy.

Salmanov, the Head of the Russian Department of the State Committee
for Work with Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad, G. Hamzayev, Deputy
Executive Director of Russian Congress of the Azerbaijanis (RCA)
and G. Osmanov, the Azerbaijani Consul General to Saint-Petersburg,
met with the Mayor of Murmansk, Heads of Internal Affairs and Federal
Migration Services. The parties discussed migration and registration
problems and the lifestyle of the Azerbaijanis in Murmansk.
