Yerevan, May 14. /Mediamax/. Armenian Police described today as
"a result of morbid imagination" yesterday’s statement of one of
the leaders of the oppositional "Impeachment" bloc Nikol Pashinian,
according to which on the eve of the elections the authorities printed
400 thousand new passports, which were used for election fraud.
Mediamax reports that the Armenian Police reminded in its statement,
that from May 10 of 2006 and up to May 10 of 2007, there were 194
623 passports printed in Armenia, 31 765 of which were granted to
persons under 16, 49 717 – to persons of 16-18 ages, and 113 111 –
to persons over 18.
