Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement on the
fact of forbidding the Turkish observers to arrive in Armenia within
the OSCE Mission to monitor the parliamentary elections on May 12.

Azerbaijani APA agency informs that on May 6 eight members of the
OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights were told
that Yerevan has not provided them with entry visas. According to
the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this step evidences that
Armenia is far from constructive dialogue, is an unsociable and
suspicious country. Turkey calls on all the countries and international
organizations to draw conclusions from this fact.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
