Armenian delegation members have announced the details of the meeting
in Baku on May 4, APA-Sport reports.

Armen Grigoryan, secretary general of National Olympic Committee of
Armenia, Vice-president Ramzik Stepanyan and Greco-Roman wrestling team
head coach, Olympic champ Levon Julfalakyan stated that Azerbaijan
ensures security for the Armenian sportsmen in world championship to
be held in Baku in September. Besides, at the request of Armenian
delegation, International Olympic Committee representatives and
freelance reporters will attend the championship as observers. They
are to study the attitude towards Armenian wrestlers during the
competition. Armenian officials noted that the agreement between four
parties doesn’t mean absolute guarantee.

Grigoryan said they raised the issue at the meeting on visa, raising
Armenian flag and playing its anthem in case if Armenian wrestler
becomes champion. He said the delegation left for Baku from Tbilisi.

The delegation members were introduced to security officers on plane.

Their documents were not sealed at the airport. Only International
Olympic Committee representative stayed with Armenian delegation at
the hotel in Baku.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
