ANTE LIAS TO PUBLISH A NEW BOOK ON THE ARMENIAN LANGUAGE

His Holiness Aram I has announced 2007 to be the "Year of the Armenian
Language". As part of the initiatives organized on this occasion, the
Catholicosate of Cilicia’s Armenian and Educational Affairs Department will
soon publish a new book of poems and writings on the Armenian Language.

With the decision of His Holiness Aram I, copies of the new book will be
provided to all Armenian educational and cultural organizations and all
those who request, in order to preserve the love and commitment of the new
Armenian generations towards their language. The book has been edited by
prominent intellectual, director of the Catholicosate’s Armenian and
Educational Affairs Office and Seminary professor, Sarkis Giragossian.

The Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia is one of the two Catholicosates of
the Armenian Orthodox Church. For detailed information about the books
