Surpassing the US with one point, with 2 627 points Armenia occupies
the 3rd place in the last list of leading chess countries issued by
the International Chess Federation (FIDE). Russia is the first with
2 713 points, the second is Ukraine with 2 661 points. The US has 2
627 points.
