THE ARMENIAN CHURCH PARTICIPATES IN THEOLOGICAL DIALOGUE WITH THE CATHOLIC
CHURCH

The fourth meeting of the bilateral theological dialogue between the
Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Catholic Church started yesterday in
Rome.

The Armenian Church in its entirety takes part in this formal theological
dialogue. The Catholicosate of All Armenians, Echmiadzine, Armenia, is
represented by Archbishop Mesrob Krikorian, the Primate of Austria and North
Europe, and Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, the Primate of Eastern Diocese of
the United States. The Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia,
Antelias, Lebanon, is represented by Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, the
Prelate of the Eastern Prelacy of the United States, and Bishop Nareg
Alemezian, the Ecumenical Officer of the Catholicosate.

The Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia is one of the two Catholicosates of
