FRENCH PRESIDENT CHIRAC HEADS TO ARMENIA FOR FIRST TIME

French President Jacques Chirac is on his way to Armenia today for
an official state visit. According to his aides, Chirac, who is the
first French President to visit Armania, will include a stop to lay
a wreath at a memorial to the so-called Armenian genocide, and will
then take a tour of the genocide museum there.
Chirac, who is being accompanied by a large delegation, will also
attend the opening of Yerevan’s new French Square, as well as make
an appearance at a Charles Aznavour concert.
