Yekaterinburg Youths Sentenced For Racist Attack

YEKATERINBURG YOUTHS SENTENCED FOR RACIST ATTACK

Three youths were sentenced in connection with a racist attack against
two Armenians in Yekaterinburg, according to a September 11, 2006
report by the Sova Information-Analytical Center. The youths were
found guilty of a hate crime after beating their victims on March 28,
2006. The oldest defendant, a 19 year old, was sentenced to a year
and a half in prison; the two others were fined.
