Azerbaijan is not willing to restart the war against
Armenia. Nevertheless, in case of failure of the talks on the peaceful
settlement of the Karabakh conflict, it will have to discuss other ways
of "resolving the issue of occupation of Azerbaijani territories,"
said Ramiz Mehtiev, Head of Staff of the Office to the President of
Azerbaijan, Day. Az reports.
Mehtiev noted also that Azerbaijan continues undertaking consistent
measures for the reinforcement of the militant capacity of the
armed forces, and one of the steps in this direction was the recent
establishment of the Ministry of Military Industry.
"Creation of the Ministry was necessary in the light of the fact that
20 percent of the country’s area is occupied," Mehtiev said.
