Internet Access Partially Resumes in Armenia

INTERNET ACCESS PARTIALLY RESUMES IN ARMENIA

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Internet access has partially resumed in Armenia. For
over 6 hours Armenian Internet users were deprived of the opportunity
to view most foreign websites. Internet communication in the republic
is still unstable currently. Earlier Arminco Global Telecommunications
Internet provider company reported that damage of fiber-optic cable
in Georgia had caused the failure. According to the Information Center
of ArmenTel telecommunication company, today at 11:55 a.m. local time
fiber-optic cable was damaged at Kutaisi-Zestafon location in Georgia,
reports Novosti-Armenia.
