Artur Baghdassaryan. He did what he deemed necessary,» Armenian
Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan told journalists. In his words,
differences in Orinats Yerkir party were about to happen long ago and
Artur Baghdassaryan’s move is quite explicable. As of businessmen, who
left Orinats Yerkir, in Sargsyan’s opinion, they joined the party
hoping to gain power leverage. «However, now the party does not
have power and they considered leaving it was a right move. As of
myself, I will repeat again I was never member of Orinats Yerkir –
either in 2000, or in 2001 or later,» S. Sargsyan emphasized.
