There is no struggle against corruption in Armenia. 79 percent of
readers who participated in the poll of Lragir.am think so. This does
not suggest, however, that the rest of participants think there is
struggle against corruption in Armenia. Our poll lasted for a week,
and over this period not a single reader of Lragir.am replied “yes”
to the question “Is there real struggle in Armenia?” Besides the 79
percent who answered “no,” 14 percent of the readers of Lragir.am,
who voted, find that the struggle is biased. 7 percent chose the answer
“partly.”

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
