FORMER SPOKESMAN OF RUSSIAN FSS FD IN ARMENIA STILL ON REMAND
YEREVAN, MARCH 14. ARMINFO. The former spokesman of the Frontier
Department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia, Lieut.
Col. Ivan Zhirenko is still on remand.
He was caught at the Moscow Vnukovo Airport while trying to bring to
Armenia 17 kg of gold articles.

Karapetyan say that Zhirenko has been sent to continue his service
in Voronezh. “We are waiting for the trial,” says Karapetyan.
