in the August 12 statement of the “Democratic Armenia” union. It was
mentioned that the unprecedented, 30% increase of the fare of express
microbuses is a link of the chain of rises in price in different
spheres of the public utilities company started during the last few
months. The union considers the economic explanations of the
authorities as “unfit.” “The authorities’ loud-voiced statements
about a two-digit economic increase and increase of the national
currency rate are more than groundless on the background of this
oppression,” is mentioned in the statement of the “Democratic
Armenia” union.
