Today RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gegham Gharibjanyan
received the delegation headed by Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmad
Arnous. The joint delegation of the Syrian Ministries of Finance and
Foreign Affairs arrived in Armenia on a 3-day visit to hold recurrent
political consultations and sign an agreement on avoiding double
taxation between the governments of the two states.
During the visit the parties discussed issues of mutual interest as
well as the prospects of cooperation with international organizations
and some regional problems available in the Near East and South
Caucasus.
The discussions focused on widening the legal field and trade economic
relations.
