KOCHARIAN TO TAKE PART IN EurAsEC INTERSTATE COUNCIL IN MOSCOW

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ June 22 a delegation headed by Armenian President Robert
Kocharian will leave for Moscow to take part in the EurAsEC Interstate
Council at the level of state leaders. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
Russia and Tajikistan are EurAsEC members. Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine have
observer status. As reported by EurAsEC Press Service, in the course of the
session the course of the forming of EurAsEC common customs tariff, as well
as a number of projects, including the concept of currency cooperation of
EurAsEC countries, agreement on cooperation in integrated currency market,
agreement on interaction of frontier departments in case of crisis at
external borders, the order of adjustment of main macroeconomic indices of
development of the economies of the EurAsEC states will be discussed. June
23 in Moscow Robert Kocharian will participate in the session of the
Collective Security Council (CSC) of the CSTO countries – Armenia, Belarus,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Russia, and Tajikistan. A day before, June 22,
sessions of the CSTO Council of FMs, Council of Defense Ministers and
Committee of Security Council Secretaries. The CSC will focus on further
strengthening of allied relations of the Organization member states,
promotion of military integration and that in other fields. The detailed
analysis of the military and political situation in the CSTO responsibility
zone and adjacent regions will be carried out. The Armenian delegation will
return to Yerevan June 24, reported Regnum news agency.
