GOVERNMENT ALLOCATES 2.250 MLN AMD FOR MEASURES DEDICATED TO 1,600
ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN ALPHABET AND 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN
GENOCIDE
YEREVAN, APRIL 14. ARMINFO. The Armenian Government has allocated
1.250 mln AMD from its reserve fund to the Ministry for Culture and
Youth Affairs and 1 mln AMD for the Ministry of Science and Education
for measures dedicated to the 1,600 anniversary of creation of the
Armenian alphabet and the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide
in the Ottoman Turkey in 1915.
The Governmental press-service informs ARMINFO that in conformity
with today’s decision of the Government, the Ministry for Culture
will provide funds to the union of painters for organization of a
republican festival of declamation timed to the 1,600 anniversary of
the Armenian alphabet. The ministry will direct funds to Yerevan
State University for organization of measures dedicated to the 90th
Anniversary of the Armenian genocide.
