“Beast on the Moon,” a tale of Armenian immigrants in America after
World War I, has been seen around the country and around the world
over the last decade or so.

Now the love story by Richard Kalinoski is coming to off-Broadway,
opening April 27 at the Century Center for the Performing Arts.
Preview performances begin April 12.

The play concerns an Armenian couple in Milwaukee – she a mail-order
bride, he an ambitious photographer. Both experienced the horrors of
the Armenian genocide and now must try to put their lives back
together in a new country.

“Beast on the Moon,” directed by Larry Moss, features Omar Metwally
as the husband and Lena Georges as the wife. Also in the cast are
Louis Zorich and Matt Borish.
