Government proposes addenda to law on audiovisual media

The Government proposes addenda to the Law on Audiovisual Media.

According to the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, with the adoption of the initiative, it is expected that broadcasters providing audiovisual media services, when broadcasting TV content or synthetic content generated by artificial intelligence or other digital technological solutions, must necessarily mark that the given material was generated by artificial intelligence tools, the press service of the Parliament said in a press release.

“The current legislation does not establish mandatory requirements for the identification or marking of synthetic content in the case of its creation or distribution. As a result, the consumer is often not informed that the content was created in whole or in part using artificial intelligence systems.

In these conditions, it is necessary to establish a clear legal definition of synthetic content and provide for mandatory marking requirements for audiovisual media service providers to ensure transparency of information and consumer awareness.”

The draft law proposes to enshrine in law the legal definition of synthetic content as audiovisual, audio or other information material that has been fully or partially generated or modified using artificial intelligence systems or generative technologies.

The initiative was debated in first reading at the NA extraordinary sitting convened on April 7 and adopted by voting.

Verelq: Elite is out

“Publication”. the newspaper writes.

Saturday at the sports concert complex Administrative division and the concert with the participation of several musical groups differed from the previous one by several episodes.

First of all, they spared no effort: they brought supporters from the marzes, as well as employees of the state apparatus. whom they managed, forced, even their relatives, parents. This was due to the fact that there were not a few elderly people in the concert hall. They aimed to show that they can fill a large hall.

But, unlike the previous one, this time fewer CP members participated, the elite was less, if not to say that only a few CP members were present. Arsen Torosyan, Srbuhi Galyan, Sona Ghazaryan, Vahagn Aleksanyan, Rustam Bakoyan and some more.

And thirdly: the participants were extremely upset by the fact that during the concert everything was paid for, while the water was distributed free of charge last time. Instead, they gave sweets with the CP heart logo to the participants. The concert started a little later than planned, and during the whole time, the civil-clothes police officers kept vigilance in the hall, keeping the participants in tension. The narrow-eyed bodyguard who hit the twins in St. Anna Church was also there.

Iran is consolidating long-term dominance in the Strait of Hormuz

In response to the attacks on Iran’s petrochemical industrial infrastructure, tonight the Iranian side hit the world’s fourth largest petrochemical plant of “Saudi Basic Industries Corporation” in Saudi Arabia.

Iran’s actions in the war have the nature of an operational response, and the long-term Iranian strategy implies maintaining complete control over the Strait of Hormuz even in the post-war period, to which the parliament of this country is taking legislative steps on the one hand, and diplomatic work with the Omani Foreign Ministry on the other.

Yesterday, when the action of evacuating the pilot of a shot down American plane from Iran was presented at the White House, General Kane, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, made a remarkable statement from which conclusions can be drawn about the behavior of ordinary Iranians in this war. In particular, he noted that during the evacuation operation, every Iranian among the local residents who had even a small firearm opened fire on the American helicopters.

Anahit Avanesyan to Andranik Kocharyan. “Serving in the army is an honor and a part of life

I felt great pain for Mr. Andranik Kocharyan’s careless statement today, and I must emphasize again that our worthy and enlightened boys are serving in the Armenian army, who prefer to do their duty to the motherland even before their studies. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“Serving in the army is an honor and a great school of life that cannot be replaced by anything else. Good service to all our soldiers and successful studies to our boys. they are all the pride of our country.

A proud mother of two soldiers,” he said.

To remind, yesterday in the National Assembly, the Chairman of the Committee on Defense and Security Affairs was asked why his son did not serve, to which Andranik Kocharyan said, “My son is a very high-class boy, even if you have his knowledge, you will not serve either,” said the MP in response to the journalist’s question.
