Nikol Pashinyan and the “Demolish the State” party actively circulate the following ignorant dilemmas:

If we say Artsakh, they will call our country “Western Azerbaijan”.

If they say genocide and ethnic cleansing, they will accuse us of “genocide”.

If we say rights of Artsakh Armenians, they will also say that we “have rights” too.

Many people fall into the trap of these theses, but there is a deep anti-logic here, and the facts speak of a completely opposite reality. Let’s take turns.

The “Western Azerbaijan” invasion concept came into circulation two months after Artsakh was recognized as part of Azerbaijan. At that time, in December 2022, Aliyev directly announced: “There has never been Armenia in this area. Today’s Armenia is our land… Now that the Karabakh conflict has been resolved, this is the issue on our agenda. Of course, it was premature to talk about it before the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. But we should not waste time. A return concept should be developed…”

When we don’t talk about Azerbaijani crimes proven by facts, when we are even ready to refuse lawsuits submitted to international courts, Azerbaijan “judges” our compatriots, accusing them and our state of being “fascist” without any grounds and without facts. Aliyev himself directly said in January of last year: “Armenia is a fascist state that is a threat to the region…”

The rights of the Armenians of Artsakh have been established by various decisions of international courts, which at the moment, yes, cannot be implemented, because Armenian hatred is propagated at the state level in Azerbaijan, but this does not mean that this right does not exist. International courts actually rejected claims related to Azerbaijanis in Soviet Armenia. Different specialists have talked about it many times. In this matter, the Azerbaijani side does not have any factual basis either.

In other words, with his “mirror” dangerous and super ignorant comparisons, Nikol Pashinyan is simply helping Aliyev to invent a non-existent history at our expense, to invent non-existent rights at our expense. He dismisses the director of the Genocide Museum-Institute for presenting a factual book about the Genocide to the US Vice President. recognize the events as “genocide committed by Armenians”.

Every time I am convinced anew that Nikol Pashinyan is the person of Azerbaijan in Armenia. All his statements and steps in the short-term, medium-term and long-term terms are used to serve the interests of the Azerbaijani side. There cannot be any educational, public, any type of institution within the state, which will decide for itself whether there is a risk of an attack from an external place, and will make a decision accompanied by awareness. Because those students who stay at home due to the danger of being hit have relatives, friends, and a significant part of them probably pass on the information, and then they pass on the information to their acquaintances, you know, the American university like this. I think you can imagine what a chain could go as a result of that.

Accordingly, if the American University made such a decision, there should be a mechanism of responsibility for it. It can be a warning or something else, but any such self-activity should be stopped.

The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors approved a $200 million (€170.3 million) Economic Transformation Development Policy Operation to support Armenia’s transition to a more competitive and globally integrated economy that will also have an emissions control and management system. “Armenia’s Economic Transformation Development Policy Operation” supports a multi-sectoral reform agenda aimed at modernizing Armenia’s investment and business environment, strengthening competition and consumer protection, as well as strengthening resilience in the country’s fiscal and regulatory systems.

“Armenia has an ambitious reform agenda, and we support the country’s efforts to build a more open, competitive and sustainable economy,” said Fabrizio Dzarcone, head of the World Bank’s Armenia office. “The transition to a more diversified and resilient economy will create growth conditions that will be favorable for every citizen.”

The operation is based on two pillars. The first focuses on realizing investment and trade potential and promoting competition.
