People Form Personal Armies With Their Weapons

PEOPLE FORM PERSONAL ARMIES WITH THEIR WEAPONS

Head of ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Armen Rustamyan said
during today’s parliamentary briefings that the assassination in front
of Syuik governor’s house is the result of the idea of the authorities
according to which, in order to ensure the reproduction of the power,
people, who commit crimes but remain unpunished, are necessary.

The MP noted that Syunik has always had a high index of reproduction.

Rustamyan noted that when the prime minister was appointed, he said
the first step was going to be to carry out checking in Syunik to
reveal breaches. Later, no breaches were found out and the case was
closed. If this atmosphere is preserved, the same will happen in all
Marzes, says the MP adding that those people, who provide service
for the reproduction of the power, are an evil for the society. Armen
Rustamyan said that the atmosphere of impunity allows people forming
their personal armies with their weapons.

Dwelling on Hovik Abrahamyan’s recent statements and criticism,
Rustamyan said that self-criticism by the power is not new, because
it thinks it should be represented everywhere. “They are establishing
monopoly also in the political field now. They are trying to be both
power and opposition”, said the Member of Parliament.

Armen Rustamyan said referring to the power that confession without
penitence is cynicism. He noted also that the main issue of the
opposition is the lack of unity.

German Intelligence :95 % Of Free Army Non-Syrian Extremist Groups

GERMAN INTELLIGENCE :95 % OF FREE ARMY NON-SYRIAN EXTREMIST GROUPS

Jun 13, 2013

Berlin, (SANA)- German “Die Welt” daily said that only 5% of the
armed terrorists in the so-called Free Army are Syrians, while 95%
of them are extremist groups which came from several African countries
to jihad in Syria baked by the Gulf and Arab countries.

The daily quoted intelligence experts in Germany as saying : ”
The German intelligence has an official and detailed account of
the nationalities of the rebels in Syria and their locations in
the country,”

A member of the German intelligence said that some terrorist groups
in Syria wok in full coordination with al-Qaeda, but the extremist
groups are most dangerous than al-Qaeda since they commit genocide
against children and women and use them as human shields to achieve
the possible biggest number of casualties.

According to a semi-official statistics the number of the gunmen in
Syria estimated at 14,800 including experts in many fields like the
preparation of improvised explosive devices. Most of those gunmen
previously participated in several attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The biggest danger lies in the Arab countries’ help releasing Islamic
detainees and sending them to Syria with the aim of Jihad against
the Syrian state violating the standards of anti-terrorism Conventions.

The armed terrorist groups of the so-called Jabhat al-Nusra have
committed a large number of massacres against children, women and
elderly in different regions of Syria, the most recently massacre
was carried out in Hatleh village in Deir Ezzor Province claiming the
lives of over 30 people because of their refusal to support terrorists
in their hostile acts against civilians.

For The First Time Ever Two Villages In The Syunik Marz Get Access T

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER TWO VILLAGES IN THE SYUNIK MARZ GET ACCESS TO A MOBILE TELEPHONY AND INTERNET SERVICE WITH ORANGE

Today Orange announced the launch of its services in two villages
of the Syunik region: Geghanush and Gomaran, which are getting
access to mobile technologies for the first time ever. Though
the telecommunication sector is developed in Armenia and modern
technologies are available to the inhabitants of most of the cities and
villages, there are still a few villages which have no communication
provided by any of the telecom operators yet. Geghanush and Gomaran
having respectively 280 and 76 inhabitants, will have access starting
from today not only to mobile voice services, but also to high-speed
mobile internet thanks to Orange.

Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO, said: “I am happy today to be
here and to announce the launch of these two mobile base stations that
will ensure fast connection not only inside these villages but as well
with the rest of the world. Mobile telephony and internet definitely
bring changes to the daily life of people: being more connected, more
informed, closer to people who are far. Being connected bridges the
gap between people living in the capital and people living in small
villages. Orange is proud to be not only the operator which delivers
the best quality in towns but as well the one which creates these new
experiences for people living in villages like Geghanush and Gomaran
which do not have a connection provided by any other operator”.

As a reminder, after less than 4 years of launching its operations,
Orange services are now available to more than 95% of the Armenian
population. In Yerevan, Gumri, Vanadzor and Etchmiadzine Orange
offers up to 42Mbps capacity network, and up to 21Mbps in the rest
of the country.

Orange policy is to continue expanding its operations in villages
taking care of quality and performance, including villages not yet
covered by any operator, such as Ditsmayr and Bnunis in Syunik region
and Antaramut or Kachachut in Lori region which will be all covered
by the beginning of 2014.

Neither Victim, Nor Successor Is Recognized

NEITHER VICTIM, NOR SUCCESSOR IS RECOGNIZED

Arthur Sakunts, chairman of Vanadzor office of Helsinki Association,
told Lragir.am that in Armenia some part of court cases never starts
because the victim’s relatives are not recognized as the victim’s
legal successors. It happened for example in Hayk Movsisyan’s case.

Recall on November 20, 2012 Hayk Movsisyan was condemned to three years
in prison for avoiding compulsory military service. On November 28,
he was found dead in Shushi penitentiary. His mother has not been
recognized as his legal successor despite her numerous requests. On
April 13, 2013 the Court of Appeals declared Movsisyan posthumously
innocent.

Sakunts says that there are other two cases in Yerevan when
minors died but their parents have not been recognized as their
legal successors. According to the human rights defender, by not
recognizing victims’ relatives their legal successors a number of
local and international law provisions on human rights are violated
regarding both the victims and their successors.

Authorities Or Secret Agents

AUTHORITIES OR SECRET AGENTS

Minister of energy Armen Movsisyan has stated that the ambassador of
Iran Mohammad Reisi may not be aware of the situation if he announces
that Iran can supply cheaper gas to Armenia. Armen Movsisyan’s
statement is a serious allegation. It can even be considered as
a breach of diplomatic ethics. Official Tehran’s response will be
interesting.

There is every reason to doubt Armen Movsisyan’s awareness. The
society has been inquiring from the ministry of energy when the
Armenian-Russian gas agreement was signed and what it deals with
but there is no answer yet. The minister announced at the National
Assembly yesterday that he does not even remember in what month the
agreement was stipulated. So, after all this it is strange that the
minister accuses the Iranian ambassador of unawareness.

But the most surprising thing is that no one is saying the price
of the Iranian gas for the society to be able to compare both. The
Iranian ambassador speaks about cheap gas but does not even say an
average price. The Armenian minister of energy says the Iranian gas
is not cheaper than the Russian gas but does not publish the price.

So how much does the Russian and Iranian gas cost? Can anyone give a
clear answer to the Armenian society to be able to understand who has
better awareness? Otherwise, the society is getting dizzy from all
this mutually exclusive information on the Iranian and Russian gas
and the feeling is that there is no power in Armenia, but a group of
secret agents who are afraid of being disclosed each time they reveal
any information to the society.

Russia’s Interesting Gift To Armenia

RUSSIA’S INTERESTING GIFT TO ARMENIA

On Russia Day our strategic ally gave an interesting present to
Armenia. Kultura TV which is a state-run TV company, broadcast a show
on Turkey the participants of which questioned the Armenian genocide
and the number of its victims, noting that the number of victims was
much less than the stated one and a half million.

I wonder what would happen if Russia questioned the so-called “genocide
of Khojallu”. Nobody doubts that the note of the Azerbaijani foreign
ministry would be right in, and the Russians would have to apologize
for the “misunderstanding”. By the way, there seem to be precedents.

A few months ago the Russian journalist Alexey Prokhanov told stories
about the war in Artsakh on another Russian state-run TV channel and
depicted Armenians as savages and Azerbaijanis as his friends.

Not a single word from Armenia, especially now that Serzh Sargsyan
has congratulated Putin and Medvedev on the Russia Day. How could
we complain after congratulations of what they show on their state
TV channels? It is Russia Day and Russia can do whatever it wants on
that day.

Meanwhile, every day is Russia Day for Armenia, and Russia does
everything it wants every day.

Although, we deal with Moscow’s whining as Armenia has to reject
Russia’s imperialistic proposals. Apparently, the imperial TV channels
therefore attack the Armenians. You refuse to give us your future,
we mar your past.

The Russian state television has set to do this job, and perhaps soon
the Russian TV companies will hire Turkish historians for consultancy
on historical documentaries. Azerbaijan will kindly agree to fund
these projects.

One needs to wait for the premiere of the film about the war in
Artsakh where brave Azeri and Turk soldiers will fight with Armenian
extremists which destroyed the Soviet Union with their claims and
now they would not help Putin’s efforts to put it back piece by piece.
