A LESSON OF HISTORY
Apo Torosyan, whose grandparents died in the Armenian genocide of the
World War I era, will exhibit his work at the Florida Holocaust
Museum on Saturday to Sept. 16. The Bread Series/Immigration
Installation will include paintings made with bread, mounds of earth,
newspaper, sound and video. Focusing on oppression and dislocation,
Torosyan hopes to educate the public about the danger of ignoring
history’s lessons.
