ALARM CALLS ABOUT BOMBS IN ARMENIAN CHURCH AND SCHOOLS TURN OUT TO BE
FALSE

ISTANBUL, MAY 26, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. On May 25 at 2:00 pm
the Turkish police received a phone call that bombs had been put in
Surb Mariam Astvatsatsin Church and the Armenian preparatory school
for translators in Ortakyo. Upon arriving at the indicated place,
policemen did not find any bombs in the church and the preparatory
school.

Half an hour later – at 2:30 pm, the police received an alarm call
about a suspicious parcel at the Yesayan Armenian scholl in Taksim.
Policemen found nothing but scraps of paper in the parcel.
