Parliamentarian elections in Armenia: 5 parties overpassed 5-percent barrier

CEC of Armenia, five political forces, including Republican Party of
Armenia, ARF `Dashnaktsutyun’ extraparliamentary pro-governmental
`Prosperous Armenia’, as well as opposition parties `Orinats Yerkir’
and extraparliamentary `Heritage’ overpassed the 5-percent barrier in
the parliamentarian elections of Armenia. United Labor Party is also
close to the barrier. At 13:00 local time (12:00 Moscow time) the CEC
published the following interim results of tabulation:
Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) (leader Prime Minister Serzh
Sargsyan) – 428 120
`Prosperous Armenia’ Party (leader – businessman, MP Gagik
Tsarukyan)-189 580
ARF `Dashnaktsutyun’ – 165 464
`Orinats Yerkir’ Party (leader is ex-Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan) – 87
752
`Heritage’ Party (leader is ex-Foreign Minister Raffi Hovhannisyan) –
68 601
United Labor Party (leader – MP Gourgen Arsenian) – 54 688
Other political forces are still far away from the 5-percent barrier,
