ARMENIANS TO PARTICIPATE IN EUROPEAN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP

YEREVAN, APRIL 2, ARMENPRESS: Four or five Armenian
athletes will fly to Serbia’s capital city Belgrade
this week, the venue of the European Judo Championship
that kicks off on April 5, to fight for its medals.
Gagik Aghamalian, chief coach of the Armenian team,
said among the athletes are Hovhannes Davtian (60 kg),
a winner of a Grand Prix tournament and Armen
Nazarian, 66 kg, who won a silver medal of a previous
European judo championship.
