JIVAN HAKOBIAN WHO MADE SELF-IMMOLATION ATTEMPT DIES IN HOSPITAL

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 28, NOYAN TAPAN. Jivan Hakobian, 45, a resident of
the Dalarik village (Armavir marz), who made a self-immolation attempt
in Yerevan’s Republic Square on the morning of February 27 and was
taken to the Armenia medical center, died at about 8 pm on the same
day. NT correspondent was informed about it by Hovhannes Aslanian,
doctor on duty of the Unit of Burn Treatment of the Traumatology,
Orthopedy, Radiology and Burn Treatment Center.

According to him, all this time J. Hakobian was unconscious.
