ARONYAN BECAME WINNER OF THE WIJK AAN ZEE CHESS TOURNAMENT

Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan became winner of
the Wijk aan Zee chess super tournament. He shared the
first place with Topalov and Rajabov, with 8.5 points
each. In the last 13th round Aronyan beat Tivjakov.

In group B Gabriel Sargsyan took the second place with
8 points. The first place was taken by Yelyanov with 9
points. The latter will have the right to participate
in the first group next year.
