Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the official opening of HayPass’s office at Yerevan Mall, which will issue new biometric documents.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan and HayPass head Régis Bauchiere cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the start of the office’s operations.

The prime minister, the interior minister and other attendees then toured the office. Sargsyan presented the procedures for collecting biometric data and issuing documents, service arrangements and the facilities provided for citizens.

Pashinyan personally went through the process of applying for new documents, providing the necessary biometric data.

The statement stressed that the prime minister’s direct participation allowed him to experience the service stages from a citizen’s perspective and assess the clarity and convenience of the procedures.

Citizens will assess the new system’s effectiveness through their own experience, considering the simplicity of the application procedures, the convenience of the service and its quality.
