The effect of “Victorious Azerbaijan” is fading

In the speeches of the President of Azerbaijan, especially in the last 2 months, internal stability and complete independence are constantly emphasized.

Frequent claims on these topics and various developments around Azerbaijan clearly show that the aggression and occupation of Artsakh only temporarily stopped the wave of discontent within the country.

Second, declaring itself the status of a regional actor, Azerbaijan not only failed to make the necessary repositioning, but also caused a great opposition from the real regional actors, and this led to certain processes against Azerbaijan.

The point of my writing is not that Azerbaijan is exploding or collapsing from within, but one thing is clear: the influence of the “victorious Azerbaijan” slogan is gradually decreasing, and the problems that existed before, as well as those caused by Baku’s unrealistic ambitions, are making themselves felt more prominently.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
