President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian met in New York on Friday with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly.
“Discussions during the meeting focused on the latest developments in the region, along with efforts to de-escalate tensions and create a conducive environment for dialogue, thereby contributing to the enhancement of regional security and stability,” the Qatari foreign ministry said on X.
