On August 11, at 9:27 p.m., the 112 operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alert that citizens were lost on the Stepanavan-Alaverdi highway, near the Horomayr monastery.
According to the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene of the incident.
The rescuers found the lost citizens about 7 km away from the Horomayr monastery complex, near the rocks, and escorted them to the Odzun settlement.
