Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Zhao Leji has congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on his election as Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia.
“Your Excellency, I was delighted to learn of your election as Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. On this occasion, I wish to extend my sincere congratulations,” Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, said in a letter published by the Armenian Parliament’s press service.
“Over the 34 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, bilateral ties between China and Armenia have maintained steady and sustained development, while cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded significant results.
I stand ready to work together with you to strengthen cooperation between the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, and to make new contributions to further deepening the strategic partnership between our two countries.
I wish you good health and every success in all your endeavors,” he added.
