As a result of US strikes, five bridges were destroyed in the port of Iran

In the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas, five bridges were destroyed as a result of US airstrikes at night, the Iranian state IRIB TV channel reports.

“Five bridges in Bandar Abbas were destroyed by the US last night,” IRIB said on social networks.

On the night of June 18, Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum aimed at ending the conflict that began on February 28. However, since July 8, the US armed forces have carried out several attacks on Iran. The US Central Command claims that this was a response to Iran’s actions against commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The armed forces of Iran responded with strikes on the American bases located in several countries of the Middle East. Tehran also accused Washington of violating the ceasefire agreement. On July 9, US President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire is no longer valid.
