RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan paid another visit to the Armenian Genocide Victims’ Memorial in order to monitor the works of the second stage of improvement.

The minister was accompanied by Hasmik Hakobyan, the general secretary of the Ministry of Social and Cultural Affairs, and Hrachya Tashchyan, acting director of the Genocide Museum-Institute.
The representatives of the contractor organization presented the work process to the minister, informing that the quality of construction and improvement is ensured by professional supervision.
In the second stage of the renovation, the renovation of three more facades of the Eternity Cathedral and the renovation of the museum section are planned.
Let’s remind that the first stage of improvement was completed in April. the central, western, and eastern buildings of the memorial complex, the pediments of the Eternity Temple were overhauled, a new drainage system was built, waterproofing of the pediments and the foundations of the memorial wall was carried out, the slabs of the fronts and side facades were replaced, new paving was installed in the areas adjacent to the pediments, a new path was built along the memorial wall, the green area of the memorial complex was improved. the irrigation network was overhauled.
