Armenia’s Ambassador to Cyprus Inna Torgomyan met with Cyprus’ Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Maria Panayiotou.
The Armenian Embassy in Cyprus announced the meeting in a statement.
According to the statement, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of agriculture and environmental protection and outlined opportunities for institutionalising bilateral cooperation in those areas.
They also discussed the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be held in Yerevan in October, as well as the events planned within its framework.
