“There is also a good trend, because the recognition of Armenia has increased, people may take the opportunity to travel to 3rd countries through Armenia, or in the opposite direction, go out for 1-2 days, travel around the republic, either come to Yerevan, or go to Echmiadzin, or go to Parakar, and this also has a very significant effect.
Also, the price situation in the market shows that there are no big consumption problems. Of course, in relation to 1-2 types of products, roses and tomatoes, we have a certain devaluation, in other cases it seems that there is no significant [change],” said Pashinyan.
In this context, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan informed that in the case of flowers, for example, the export has increased, and only in the case of tomatoes, there is a drop in price.
Regarding the increase in tourist flows, Pashinyan noted that June was an all-time historical record, and, according to the Prime Minister, the decision to subsidize airline passenger flows to new destinations played a significant role in this matter.
