For committing the above-mentioned criminal acts, the former director of the medical center was charged with Article 179, Part 3, Clause 1 (Part 3) of the former Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (corresponds to Article 256, Part 3, Clause 3 of the current Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia), Articles 2 and 3, Part 2, Article 256 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (Part 2, Clause 2) and the former Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia According to part 1 of Article 314 (section 5) (corresponds to part 1 of Article 445 of the current RA Criminal Code).
During the preliminary investigation, the former director of the medical center accepted the accusation presented to him and fully recovered the damage of around 30 million AMD caused by the crime.
