Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Armenia and the United States are determined to move quickly toward the implementation of the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project.

Asked by Armenpress at a press briefing about the project, Pashinyan, speaking specifically about the availability of investments and capital required for its implementation, highlighted that the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation has recently approved the creation of the TRIPP Development Company.

“A large allocation has already been made from the fund, and as for the remaining part, the Republic of Armenia will, of course, fulfill its obligations. The document has been signed, and now it is in the ratification phase, but we should not wait for formalities; we must move forward as quickly as possible. That is the approach of both us and the United States,” Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
