Officers from the Anti-Corruption Committee conducted searches at the residence, vehicle and offices of Martun Grigoryan, a sitting lawmaker and parliamentary candidate from the Prosperous Armenia Party, Grigoryan confirmed on Friday.

Speaking to 24News, Grigoryan said investigators seized computers and electronic storage devices that authorities believe may be linked to alleged violations of Armenia’s ban on charitable activities during election campaigns.

Grigoryan noted that he was unaware whether any of his political allies had been detained but acknowledged that “searches are being carried out in several locations.”
