The joint restoration of the historic Ani Bridge could create significant tourism opportunities for Armenia and Türkiye once the border is opened. Earlier, Armenia and Türkiye signed a memorandum of understanding on the restoration of the Ani Bridge in Yerevan on the sidelines of the 8th European Political Community summit.
