Czech mass media confirm the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Yerevan. Czech media reports that Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis will have a short meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, May 3, in Armenia within the framework of the European Political Community Summit. As it is noted, the Czech Prime Minister will personally meet with Vladimir Zelensky for the first time after taking office in Yerevan. At the same time, the Czech side did not disclose the topics of the pending negotiations.
“I will also have short bilateral meetings with British Prime Minister Starmer, the Prime Minister of Serbia and the President of Moldova. For the first time, I will also hold talks with Ukrainian President Zelensky. It is important that we meet,” said Babish. However, he stated that he is not planning to visit Ukraine yet. “No, I will not go to Kyiv,” the Czech Prime Minister added. He also noted that in the future he may have a meeting with Zelensky during a conference to be held in Poland, which will probably be dedicated to the restoration of Ukraine.
