On the territory of the Republic, on the afternoon of April 7, on 8-12, precipitation is expected from time to time in a large part of regions, on April 9-10 in mountain and separate foothill zones, snow and wet snow, in valley zones – in the form of rain.
The wind is southwesterly at 2-5 m/s, on April 8-10, wind intensification is expected in some regions at a speed of 24-27 m/s, storm in the mountain areas, low horizontal visibility, ice on the roads.
The air temperature will decrease by 5-7 degrees during the day of April 9 and the night of April 10, and will rise by the same amount on April 11.
“Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” NOSC also informs that due to the invasion of a cold front from the northwest, precipitation is expected in the whole republic on April 9-10, in the form of snow in Shirak, Gegharkunik, Lori, Tavush foothills, Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor mountain regions.
On those days, it is predicted that the snow cover will increase by 20-50 cm in the mentioned areas, storms, low horizontal visibility, ice on the roads are also expected. Wind intensification with a speed of 24-27 m/s is expected in some regions on April 8-10.
