Rotation of Armenian peacekeepers in Iraq will take place at the end
of the current month, Commander of the Peacekeeping Division of RA
Ministry of Defense Artak Tonoyan told “Arminfo” Agency
In his words, because of technical reasons the exact date of the
rotation has not been set so far. Most probably, it will occur after
July 25.
To remind, the third group of Armenian peacekeepers, consisting of
45 people, is currently in Iraq. Armenia has been participating in
the peacekeeping operation in Iraq since January 2005.
