Peacekeeping officers studying in Germany are the best students,
Renate Haike Patch, Germany ambassador, told a discussion organized
by George Marshal Center Alumni Armenian Association. The center is a
joint German-American establishment. Speaking about career advancement
of the center alumni, John Evans noted that 16 graduates have become
defense ministers, 21 have held other ministerial positions, 22 have
become ambassadors and so on. “There is a close link between them. In
a good sense I would say that it is a mafia in Europe and Asia,”
he said.
