Diplomatic Relations between Armenia and San Marino Established
On March 21, Rouben Shugarian, Armenia’s Ambassador to the Italian
Republic, and Barbara Para, San Marino’s Ambassador, signed the
Agreement on Establishing Diplomatic Relations between the Republic
of Armenia and the Most Serene Republic of San Marino. The official
ceremony was held at San Marino’s Embassy in Rome.
Specifically, the Agreement says that the two states share a desire
to strengthen political, cultural and trade ties, and intend to base
these relations on the United Nations Charter and international norms
and principles.
